Nolvadex PCT After SARMs | How To Use Nolvadex After SARMs

Many bodybuilders are under the mistaken belief that SARMs don’t require a PCT protocol since they don’t aromatize, i.e. don’t convert to estrogen.

The fact of the matter is, SARMs still do suppress the endocrine system, which leads to a disbalance of hormones in our body.

Not only do SARMs cause Testosterone suppression, but when consumed in excessive dosages over longer periods of time, they might even cause a complete shutdown.

To counteract these side effects of SARM, people came up with PCT.

Today, we’ll be talking about one of the most popular PCT supplements known to mankind, that being Tamoxifen Citrate, more popularly known for its brand name, Nolvadex.

What is Nolvadex

Nolvadex is a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator) that has seen clinical applications for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. It is actually FDA approved for these two purposes, and the recommended usage time is five years.

Nolvadex acts as a typical SERM in the body – it binds to the estrogen receptors, leaving no room for your real estrogen to dominate.

It also stimulates the production of two very important hormones, LH (Luteinizing Hormone) and FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone), which are crucial for Testosterone production.

The reason above is why Nolvadex is so popular amongst bodybuilders, it helps them get on track that much faster and it doesn’t have many side effects.

Bodybuilders that would have spent months recovering from their Testosterone suppression and the inevitable disbalance of hormones in their body, get ready to go back on their feet in a mere month with Nolvadex.

As we can see, Nolvadex is a powerful compound and should be taken with care.

Nolvadex Legal Status

Since Nolvadex is FDA approved, you don’t need to pretend that you’re using it as a research chemical.

Still, you need a prescription for it, and it can be quite hard to go to your doctor and ask him for a drug that is usually only taken by women.

Don’t worry, at the end of the article, I’ll show you where to find real Nolvadex for sale.

Nolvadex Dosage

Nolvadex has a very long half-life, so you don’t have to worry about things like having to take it multiple times a day.

It is usually consumed orally, and it is available in the form of capsules in 10mgs and 20mgs and as a liquid.

Your Nolvadex dosage will largely depend on how much suppression you’re experiencing and primarily, your blood work test.

If your hormones are only slightly out of whack, taking more than 20mgs of Nolvadex a day would be a waste, and would only serve to potentiate the side effects of the drug.

Conversely, if you’re quite suppressed, you may take up to 40mgs a day, but your dosage will be lowered as the weeks go on.

I will talk a bit more about that in the next section.

How To Use Nolvadex After SARMs

Let’s assume that you’re only experiencing mild to medium suppression from the SARMs that you’ve imbued and that you want to do a PCT cycle with Nolvadex.

Here is a table I’ve made that showcases how long and how much Nolvadex you should take:

Week

SARM

Nolvadex

1-8

X mgs a day

/

8-12

/

20mgs a day

The goal is to take Nolvadex in a 20mg dosage every day.

However, if you’re experiencing strong suppression from SARMs, it is advised that you follow this protocol:

Week

SARM

Nolvadex

1-8

X mgs a day

/

8-10

/

40mgs a day

10-12

/

20mgs a day

Here, it’s important to halve the dosage at the ten-week mark. If you fail to do so, you subject yourself to an unnecessary risk of side effects.

Nolvadex is a quick-acting drug and two weeks are more than enough time for it to do most of the work necessary.

Lastly, an important thing to mention is that SARMs and PCT should never be mixed. It would be similar to combining water and fire, and your body would be the battleground in that scenario.

Always take your PCT after you’re done with your SARM cycle.

Ideally, you should wait around 24 hours since your last SARM dosage to allow time for the SARMs to eject themselves from your body.

Nolvadex Side Effects

Nolvadex has some side effects that you should be aware of, since some of them can negatively impact your day-to-day activities.

Moreover, a small minority can be outright dangerous, and you should immediately discontinue usage if you notice any of them.

Luckily, they are rare, so there is no need to panic.

Here is a list of common side effects when taking Nolvadex:

  • Mild Headaches And Nausea
  • Hot Flashes
  • Muscle Cramps/Pain
  • Fatigue
  • Hair Shedding
  • Libido Loss
  • Depression

It’s commonly assumed that only Clomid has depression as a side effect, but that is not the case. Although Clomid is a bit stronger, these two SERMs work in a similar fashion.

Here is a list of serious adverse effects when taking Nolvadex:

  • Blurred Vision
  • Changes In Personality
  • Eye Pain
  • Swelling of The Foot

Immediately discontinue usage if you feel any of these four and contact your local doctor for assistance.

As already mentioned, these are quite rare, but we have to be on high alert. After all, it’s our body we’re talking about here.

Where to Buy Nolvadex

A lot of places selling Nolvadex online are actually selling underdosed or bunk versions of Nolvadex which won’t be as beneficial as the real thing.

This is why I keep an up-to-date list of recommended PCT vendors.

I’ve personally verified these companies and can vouch for their quality. They have great products and should be your #1 choice when it comes to buying PCT products.

Conclusion

All in all, Nolvadex is a great SERM for a PCT after SARMs. It doesn’t have many side effects; many people tolerate it quite well and it isn’t that expensive at all.

Make sure you stick to my recommended dosages and cycle lengths when it comes to taking Nolvadex, and you’ll be well on your way to getting your body back to baseline!
